How To Identify The Aluminium Alloy Lever Hoist

You can refer to the following points:

1)Visual inspection:

A. All parts of calabash should be well manufactured, without scars, burrs and other defects that affect the appearance quality

B. Condition of lifting chain of lever hoist 3 ton.
The following shall be scrapped:
(1) degree of corrosion: the surface of the chain is pitted corrosion or flake off.
(2) excessive wear of the chain exceeds 10% of the nominal diameter;
(3) deformation, crack and external damage;
(4) Pitch length changes over 3%.

C. Hook condition.
The following shall be scrapped:
(1) Deformation or loss of  safety pin of hook;
(2) The rotary ring of the hook is rusted and cannot rotate freely (360° rotation); (3) Hook severe wear (more than 10%) and hook deformation (more than 15% size increase), torsion (more than 10°), cracks, acute angles, corrosion, and warping.

D. The manual lever hoist shall be equipped with an appropriate chain stopper to assist the correct engagement of the chain and sprocket, and ensure that the chain shall not fall off from the sprocket ring groove when the lever hoist is placed and shaken at will.
2)Test methods:

A.Static load test : in static load test , pull the handle and toggle the reversing claw, so that the hook up and down once each, each mechanism should operate flexibly, without jamming or loose and tight phenomenon. Disconnect the clutch device, pull the chain by hand should be light and flexible.

B.Dynamic load test: in 1.5 times load test, the following requirements must be met:

(1) Lifting chain and sprocket, cruise ship, hand pull chain and hand sprocket meshing well;
(2) Gear transmission should be smooth and without abnormal phenomenon;
(3) There is no torsion and kink phenomenon of the lifting chain in the process of lifting and descending;
(4) The handle is stable, and the hand pulling force has no great change;
(5) The brake action is reliable.
